We are a small, non-government funded national charity, with five part time staff members. We have been supporting those with disabilities and carers for over 45 years.
We are registered and regulated by the Charities commission.
As a small charity, a donation to our funds makes a real and tangible difference to the work that we are able to do.
3H supports people with disabilities and their carers to have a much-needed UK holiday through supported group holidays and a means tested holiday grant programme. Our grant programme also supports carers seeking a holiday and break without their cared-for person. We continually receive more holiday grant applications than we are able to service as we are limited by funding constraints.
Our carer support programme is a valuable lifeline for carers who are in need of a little respite. Our TeensPlus programme for teenagers with disabilities and young carers provides support and respite for those aged 13 -25.
3H adapted and evolved in order to support those most in need during the pandemic and due to the continuing feedback from families indicating that the adapted support is still very much needed, we have incorporated these adaptations into our main support programmes.
